| Description | The Chestnut Tiger (Parantica sita) is a butterfly found in Asia that belongs to the Crows and Tigers groups. Upper side of fore wing is black or fuliginous black, with the following bluish-white sub hyaline markings. It has antennae with black; head and thorax black, spotted with white; abdomen from brown to bright. This butterfly is also common in Great Himalayan National park. The laying of egg is done in Sep. And imago issued in the April. |
